The Central Coast is one of only 10 regions in Australia to be named an Innovation Region by the Commonwealth Government, bringing focus and resource to innovation that has not been possible before.

Central Coast businesses have long had a reputation for being resourceful and responsive. The Central Coast Innovation Plan, launched in May 2011, now empowers the region with the building blocks and blueprint to best practice regional innovation.
