Trade Skills and Career Education

In addition to the options for further education, there are a number of education facilities on the Central Coast available for developing trade skills and career education.

The University of Newcastle has a campus located at Ourimbah and provides a number of vocational education and training programs and degree qualifications. The University of Newcastle Ourimbah campus is a partnership with The University of Newcastle, TAFE-NSW Hunter Institute and Central Coast Community College. It is also affiliated with the Central Coast Conservatorium of Music.

The university offers seamless pathways through post-compulsory education and training and provides undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs, certificate and diploma vocational programs and education short courses.
